Tailwater Fishing- Telephone Numbers
The following numbers are offered for those of you who tailwater fish. These are the ones that appear to be most frequented by our members. Use caution- always have an out! It is recommended to have a personal floatation device (required from Buford Dam to Hwy 20 bridge). If you fish the Chattahoochee below Morgan Falls, the recording will give the flow as low, medium or high. If it gives a high flow, the hooch is unfishable. Medium flow almost requires a float tube (for sure a PFD), but there are areas that may be waded with care. (Georgia TU makes no claims as to the accuracy of the information provided via these phone numbers or angler safety in these tailwaters) Copy these numbers, laminate it and keep it handy. (If you notice an error, contact us at webmaster@georgiatu.org.)
